Anniversary Card for Josh

Good morning and welcome to what is suppose to be our warmest day since December 1st, 2009!! Today is my husband Josh and I's 5 year anniversary!! 5 years ago today we were in sunny Las Vegas, gambling, I got tattooed and we got married!!

This is a picture of us from last summer.
But on to the craft stuff!! I made Josh an Anniversary card using all my wonderful new skills!!

For this card I used My Mind's Eye paper from their Be Loved collection. I cut out the heart and it's shadow from my Doodlecharms cartridge and inked the edge of the shadow with Cat's Eye Chalk in Chestnut Roon. The stamped sentiment on the front is a rubber stamp from the $1 bin at Michael's. The small bubble heart sticker is from K&Company and the ribbon is just some organdy I picked up at Joann's.

For the inside, I added a piece of yellowy cream textured cardstock from Best Occasions at Wal-Mart. The sentiment is from a vellum stack at Wal-Mart also. I used my decorative scissors to cut around the edge and then attached it to the cardstock using my Crop-A-Dile II and some brass eyelets.
Hope everyone enjoys today's post! My wonderful husband got me two beautiful pairs of diamond earrings. They are just gorgeous!! This evening, we are going to Peoria to see Alice in Wonderland and have dinner at Kobe Steakhouse. I am really looking forward to it. I have never been to a hibachi grill before and it sounds like so much fun!!

Don't forget to leave a comment on this post!! Now go enjoy the SUNSHINE!!!!
